The Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School, synonymous with standards of excellence and high quality training, has recently been purchased by successful business entrepreneur Anna Keely in an exciting step forward for the much loved brand. More than forty years after The Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School first opened its doors on March 1st, 1972, the new partnership means a dynamic injection of energy and brand expertise. The school’s Head Tutor and recently appointed vice-principal, Emma Kinsella, a fully-qualified teacher and CIDESCO examiner, has been working with Bronwyn Conroy for the last 13 years. “We are really excited with the new partnerships that we are now forming. This is a new development for the brand and is new to the Irish market for a private beauty college,” Emma said. “We offer new, exclusive and career shaping courses so you graduate with a phenomenal skill set that paves the way for wonderful career opportunities for any budding female entrepreneur.”

The Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School is CIDESCO approved and also offers a full CIBTAC teaching qualification as well as laser and IPL Training. Business and sales modules are also being added to the range of courses on offer from September in order to give our students the know how to sell their newly found practical skills. Our full-time CIDESCO course is the ultimate qualification in beauty therapy. It will commence in October and is always in high demand. “This year, International enquiries have increased significantly. We have enrolled students from Nepal, Pakistan, and the US, as well as students from all over Ireland”, said Anna. Bronwyn Conroy consistently offers and delivers excellent career opportunities to its students. We are constantly approached by well established hotels, salons, cruise companies, and make-up brands, all seeking to recruit Bronwyn Conroy graduates.

This is largely due to the fact that our college is the leading beauty school in Ireland and has been synonymous with standards of excellence for over 40 years. “From this year’s CIDESCO group, one of our students, Ali Fay, qualified on Wednesday and started in the Shelbourne Hotel spa the following Monday! Bronwyn Conroy graduates are working worldwide and many have gone on to establish their own businesses and successful salons and beauty colleges throughout Ireland,” said Anna Reflecting on a roller coaster couple of months, Anna added: “I am delighted that Bronwyn Conroy snr and I have now become friends as well as business colleagues. Bronwyn’s knowledge, experience and generosity in sharing this with me make a huge difference to me on a personal and business level.

“I have been fortunate throughout my career and I have worked with lots of amazing women, including Gillian Bowler in Budget Travel and more recently Noirin Hegarty of the Lonely Planet as well as many of my close girlfriends who run their own businesses. I am at a very good place in my life right now, my partner Frank has helped me enormously with this venture and my wonderful son PJ continues to support and amaze me. I hope that lots of other women get the chance to follow their dream. We in Bronwyn Conroy want to be a part of that.”
